Implementación de una micro empresa comunitaria de industrialización y comercialización de lácteos en la comunidad Tuntatacto, cantón guano, provincia de Chimborazo, y su impacto en el desarrollo socioeconómico, año 2014

This research aims to evaluate the business viability of the proposal placed by small producers of milk in the Tuntatacto Comunity, and the processing of this raw material in pasteurized milk, yogurt and cheese, in order to give it unit value and win market competitiveness. By means of a market study it has been determined, the unsatisfied demand of the product, for which an information gathering was held, having selected a representative sample of the targeted market in the city of Riobamba, designed questionnaires were applied to the public, and on this basis we were able to project both supply and demand and as a result unmet demand was found. The study has determined the necessary resources that need to be implemented in the company and its operation, in addition to the main strategies to be adopted to stay afloat in the market and attract more customers; finally the amount of the required investment was obtained, among which all fixed assets and working capital for three months of operations are specified. Evaluators yield encouraging results, with an NPV greater than zero, a higher IRR than the opportunity cost and the minimum attractive rate of return, and finally it was determined that the capital recovery time is less than 5 years. Having obtained the results of the financial evaluation, it was concluded that the proposed project is economically feasible, in a way that the community in its implementation can be successful in the economic and social sphere, and as it offers profitability it will also offer work to the community’s locals.
