| Tóm tắt: | ABSTRACT The personality approach has been considered a topic that while it generates a lot of interest, and causes controversy not only for its evaluation but also for the perspective of its dimension and the relationship with other variables. One of the relationships with which it could be linked is work attitude, but often a clear relationship between both is not evident. The objective of this research was focused on identifying the dimension of the personality and evaluate the attitude of the health care staff at “The Hospital Básico Shushufindi” The study is descriptive, cross-sectional, non-experimental, with a non-probabilistic purposive sample of 59 professionals, 58% were female and 42% male. The Cattell´s 16 personality test was used for the personality variable and in relation to the work behavior variable, the Attitude Self-Assessment scale was applied, obtaining the following relevant results: high anxiety (69%) and average work attitude (49%), without excluding low levels of independence (29%) and self-control (29%). It is important to work with the organizations and their different problems at occupational level. For this reason, a set of psychoeducational interventions have been proposed, which will enhance communication, decrease levels of anxiety and improve human connection.
