| Shrnutí: | The footwear industry faces various challenges, such as the lack of effective sales strategies to achieve efficient market distribution, which impacts profitability and long-term sustainability. This research aimed to explain the sales process and its impact on the profitability of footwear producers' associations in the Cevallos canton, Tungurahua province, during 2022. The methodology was based on collecting information from the financial statements of three associations, calculating financial indicators to measure profitability. The applied instrument was designed to understand the internal sales processes conducted by the leaders of each institution. The results determined that Calzado Gusmar has higher profitability compared to Calzafince and Alisson, indicating that its sales process strategies are more efficient. Therefore, it is concluded that, based on the analysis of the three footwear-producing associations, improving the implemented sales strategies is essential, as it significantly affects the organization’s profitability. |
