| Summary: | In recent years, the process of learning and teaching mathematics in educational institutions has become a widely complex and fundamental task in all educational systems. That is why the present investigation aimed to design a guide of didactic strategies to be used in mathematics that allow the development of creativity in students attending Guano Millennium School from February to March 2023. The research approach was quantitative, where cross-sectional and field research provided helpful information. In addition, a survey and an EMUC creativity test were applied to 79 students from Millenium Guano School. Research results suggested that the level of creativity achieved by the students is within the reaching scale and close to the required learning achievement based on the Organic Law Regulations of Intercultural Education in Ecuador. That is, students are within an acceptable range of creativity. However, students' creativity can improve. This is why the researcher proposed the development of a guide on teaching strategies that will facilitate the improvement of the development of creativity in students by promoting better teaching performance quality since this guide is an instrument that includes information about some didactic strategies that allow students to be dynamic and participatory actors able to construct their reality knowledge. |
