Yhteenveto:The development of motor perception in girls who practice rhythmic gymnastics is of great importance, because it stimulates organic functions, allowing them to generate skills to perform laterality, balance and coordination exercises when performing beam balance exercises. That is why the present research aimed to analyze the beam balance exercises in the perceptual motor development of the girls from the Fly Gym club. The methodology used had a mixed approach, with a quasi-experimental, field, transversal and bibliographic design; The population was made up of 20 girls who practice gymnastics at the Fly Gym club, their sample was non-probabilistic and intentional; The technique used was the psychometric test and the Body Scheme Perception Motor Test instrument composed of 5 tasks. Through the Chi-square test analysis, the Friedman test for related samples was performed for analysis of variance of two factors by ranks, where the bilateral significance was 0.00. In which the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted, reaching the conclusion that, based on the data presented in the first application of the Motor Body Scheme Perception Test, the lack of skills to execute movements could be observed. With respect to laterality, it was also possible to identify the problems they had in maintaining balance. That is why it was necessary to carry out a program to strengthen beam balance exercises in girls.
