Add Tag | Summary: | This research work aims to describe the usefulness of nursing reports and their contribution to patient care continuity through a descriptive and cross-sectional study during the period August 2019-September 2020. For this reason, an exhaustive search of bibliographic documents with scientific content in health in national and international areas, scientific articles, doctoral theses and manuscripts published in pages indexed as; Scielo, Redalyc, Dialnet, Medigraphic Dspace and exploration in official websites of the World Health Organization (WHO), Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador (MSP), selecting high impact information. It was deduced that the nursing report is a written communication document that facilitates interaction among health care levels. It allows continuity of care, using the nursing methodology, becoming a tool that collects information about the state of health and the interventions carried out to the user, allowing the development of care plans that constitute the Nursing Care Process (PAE). |
