סיכום:The research corresponds to a review and analysis of scientific articles found in different databases such as PEDro, ProQuest, Elsevier, Cochrane, Google Scholar, Medline (Pubmed) and Scielo, with the aim of analyzing the effect of physiotherapy in cancer patients. with peripheral neuropathy. Around 35 scientific articles were validated and included, which strictly met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro) scale was applied as a methodological validation tool. The methodology used was documentary in nature, inductive method, descriptive level and design, qualitative and retrospective approach. Peripheral neuropathy caused by chemotherapy or toxic neuropathy is a common side effect in cancer patients. Its symptoms include tingling pain, paresthesia, hyperreflexia, difficulty in fine skills and balance problems, which leads to a higher risk of falls. Physiotherapy seeks to improve or positively reduce symptoms so that the patient can lead a much more comfortable, stable life as well as reintegration into society. The research concluded that physiotherapy is of great importance for those people who have sensory and motor problems, since, through a regulated, specific and dosed intervention plan, there is significant evidence in the improvement of side effects allowing better autonomy.
