Estrés laboral en los docentes de la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo. Riobamba. Marzo – julio 2017.”

The research was conducted at the National University of Chimborazo, in the city of Riobamba, Province of Chimborazo, during the period between March and July 2017, the participation of teaches from the Faculty of Human Education Sciences and Technologies. The purpose was to analyze, know and determine the presence of work stress in teachers, both male and female, to stablish a comparison between the two sexes. The population was constituted by 40 teachers of the National University of Chimborazo. Methodologically it was a non-experimental design research, the type of research was field, bibliographic and transversal, allowing to develop in a set period of time. The level of research is correlation and descriptive, for which the psychometric technique was used as an instrument Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire, the results obtained were that they have a medium level of stress, that the three have a low level is teachers they do not feel much physical and psychological exhaustion, depersonalization. While in the personal realization teachers can not experience the well-being, the harmony and the happiness of that way, this does not allow that it increases its self-esteem, while the comparison is made between woman and men, the result that exists is the average level of work stress, a regular positive correlation between the teachers studied.
