| 要約: | The present study is about “KAIZEN AS A PHILOSOPHY OF CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT THAT EMERGED IN JAPAN AND FOCUSES ON THE IMPLEMENTATION IN SMALL SCALE, INCREMENTAL AND CONSTANT CHANGES TO IMPROVE PROCESSES, PRODUCTS OR SERVICES”. On the other hand, the mobility service is a comprehensive concept that encompasses all the options available for the movement of people within a certain area, including public and private transportation and sustainable mobility alternatives. An observation study of the public transportation in Riobamba faces problems like punctuality, quality of service and maintenance of the units, and considering that the Kaizen method has not been implemented yet in the city, so, it was determined that it is essential to apply this tool of continuous improvement. To carry out this research, both general and specific objectives are established, using a hypothetical-deductive methodology that facilitates general information to get specific conclusions. The technique used was the survey, using a questionnaire applied to a sample of 375 cases, to know the current situation. From this analysis, it was concluded that the Kaizen method affects the mobility of transport service, which led to developing a proposal and presenting the significant results to go about researching. In Chapter 1, the introduction of the topic, the approach and formulation of the problem were addressed, establishing the context and objectives of the research. Chapter 2 focused on the analysis of the relevant background and the development of the theoretical foundations that supported the study. Chapter 3 details the research method, including the type and design of study, the techniques and instruments used, also the definition of the selected population and sample. Chapter 4 It is the analysis and discussion of the results obtained, and the verification of the formulated hypotheses. In Chapter 5, conclusions from the study findings and recommendations were presented, based on these results. Finally, in Chapter 6, the proposed strategies were presented and the outcomes of the implementation research. |
