| Summary: | Today, advances in technology are changing how things are done. For this reason, this thesis responds to the need to design a functional, coherent, and accessible website for the third edition of the International Congress of Design-Gestalt, which does not have a formal digital platform to host information about the event, manage the scientific documentation process, and store material before, during, and after the congress dates. The research adopted a mixed-methods approach, including interviews with experts, surveys of students in the degree program, and a comparative analysis (benchmarking) of conference-related websites. The data analysis revealed key expectations, perceptions, and technical criteria for the project's development. Based on this input, the structure of a website was designed, based on the methodology proposed by James Garret (2002) called “The Elements of User Experience,” which organizes the process into five phases: strategy, scope, structure, skeleton, and surface, a model that allows the product to be approached from the conceptual to the visual. As a result, the structure of an intuitive and informative website is presented, visually aligned with the graphic essence of the Gestalt Congress, materialized in a functional prototype, using content management software (WordPress) complemented by plugins (Elementor Pro), which enabled an optimal, practical process. Overall, most of the artwork and graphic elements were created in Adobe Illustrator, where vector graphics provided greater clarity in displa |
