Sammanfattning:The present research work was conducted at the Simon Bolivar School in the city of Riobamba, Chimborazo Province, in order to determine the influence of the pictograms in the development of linguistic intelligence, students of third year of basic education educational institution mentioned. It is a descriptive study, which revealed the problem that occurs at school. They worked with a population of 39 students. The technique used for the development of this research was the observation, for which the observation sheet for each student was used, considering 10 items, with different levels of measurement for obtaining the required information. It is evident the importance of the daily and proper use of pictographic drawings, and in the proper development of linguistic intelligence of students. In addition, we noted the des uniformity that exists in the development of linguistic intelligence of children / as of the third year. Therefore it was recommended that teachers should give due importance to the use of pictograms as it is a resource of first order for the teaching of children and even more if the right activities which improve their motivation, attention is used and increases your creativity.
