Ամփոփում:The objective of this research was to determine the categories of assertiveness and the effectiveness of teamwork in students from fourth to eighth semester of the Psychopedagogy career of the Faculty of Human Education Sciences and Technologies of the National University of Chimborazo, the study variables include: assertiveness defined as an ability to express oneself adequately in the communication processes, and on the other hand, Teamwork which is a highly valued ability in the labor field. In order to fulfill the objective of the study, methodologically it was a research project with a quantitative approach, of non-experimental design, of descriptive type, due to the basic objective and the place of field, of transversal time; the population was formed by the students of the Psychopedagogy career, in total 289 students, while the non-probabilistic intentional sample consolidated by 169 students, from fourth to eighth semester, of which 131 were women and 38 men. For the Assertiveness variable, the Rathus Assertiveness Scale was used, which shows the following results; 31% are in the "Assertive Confrontational" category, 47% in the "Inassertive" category, 21% in the "Very Inassertive" category, and only 1% in the "Definitely Inassertive" category, similarly, for the Teamwork variable, a Questionnaire was used to analyze the effectiveness of working in a team by Sergio Vásquez Rosas, from which the following results were obtained: 27% of the students have a "High" effectiveness, 56% have a "Medium" effectiveness, and 17% have a "Low" effectiveness.
