Summary:To develop this research it was necesary realice an exhausted compilation of information about: “EATING HABITS IN DEVELOPING READING AND WRITING, IN THE KIDS OF SECOND GRADE, OF EDUCATIONAL COMMUNITY CENTER YOLANDA MARIA BORJA IN SAN JOSÉ DE TIPIN , PALMIRA PARISH, GUAMOTE TOWN , CHIMBORAZO PROVINCE DURING THE PERIOD 2015- 2016”,It’ an important contribution to solve the problem detected in the kids, because of the lack knowledge of the parents about proper eating costumes. Work began with the problem statement, objectives, variables and determine instruments to collect information; which was tabulated ,processed and analyzed by the scientific method, in the Theoretical Framework it was obtained necessary information about feeding nutritious and healthy food to help optimum development and growth of kids school age ;As well as how the strategies and a right methodology to the correct development to the reading and writing skill that is essential in the process teaching learning process. Within the Methodology used for research it was considered the deductive and inductive method, to determine the independent and dependent variables. The population of this study is made up by 20 kids of the second grade of the Community Educational Center Yolanda María Borja Chimborazo , the theme was dealt with through an observation sheet pre elaborated it was diagnosed the problem by means of an situational analysis. The results allowed raising the conclusions and recommendations through amendments effective to solve the problem.
