Dodaj oznaku | Sažetak: | According to article 107 of the Organic Law of Higher Education (LOES), the principle of relevance mentions that higher education must respond to different expectations and needs of the population, to national planning, and to the scientific, humanistic and technological development regime In addition to cultural diversity, this constitutes a necessary input for the design and creation of a master's degree in Public Health, in which studies of this type are minimal and there is a great demand for teaching professionals seeking a fourth-level specialty in this branch of knowledge. The present study aimed to establish the relevance of the master's program in Public Health in relation to the needs of the territory, development trends and employability, to contribute to the design of an academic master's program in Public Health in Zone 3, under a descriptive study, mixed approach and of a cross-sectional type, for that, the leaders and directors of Health who belong to Zone 3 were taken into account, through an online survey, validated by experts from the nursing career. Among the most relevant results, it is evidenced that the majority of the Nursing personnel work in the Second Level of Hospital Care, according to the leaders and managers, they consider it urgent and pertinent that the nursing professionals of their institution obtain a fourth level degree and in its greatest Percentage in the area of Public Health mention Family and Community Nursing. |
