“Control de inventarios en la ferreteria megadescuentos, de la ciudad de Riobamba, período 2015 y su incidencia en los estados financieros”

The research work was carried out at the Megadescuentos hardware store of Riobamba city, with the main objective of identifying the incidence of control of their inventories in the results presented in the Financial Statements. Taking the initially information observed and provided by the company owner, the problem was elaborated, since the hardware store was considered a taxpayer to keep accounts, inventories have not been correctly controlled; with the problem identified, the objectives of study were established. The antecedents of similar investigations to the subject, the generalities of the company, the basic concepts and definitions of the two variables of study, are treated within the State of the Art. Scientific methods, the type and design of research; the techniques and instruments used to obtain the information through the population surveyed are detailed in the Methodological Framework. The results of the survey and the observation of the financial statements are presented in the Results and Discussion. At the end of the research work the conclusion and recommendations that have been reached are issued.
