| Sumari: | In the following research work, the representation of children and adolescents in the digital media discourse of Chimborazo in 2020 will be developed to propose categories of analysis and thus be able to deduce the journalistic discourse of digital media. There is no record of digital media, which is why the work of observation and analysis of the purely digital media with the most significant number of followers and sifting amateur journalism sites is developed. Subsequently, three media are chosen for the development, Diario de Riobamba, El Riobambeño MCG & Medios Digitales, and Noti Chiv, who have been the digital media with the most significant number of followers. From these three media, the total number of publications is analyzed, then the topics related to children and adolescents are chosen. Once the notes are obtained, they are analyzed according to the journalistic genre. In addition to this, discourse values are assigned to be analyzed such as social development such as education, vulnerable events, or violent events in which children and adolescents are immersed. An interview with a professional digital expert media is also developed to reinforce the theoretical knowledge with practicality. As a result, it was obtained that digital media develop few news content related to children and adolescents. In addition, the discourse they direct is focused on the vulnerability that they represent since most of their publications are aspects where they have been violated or are going through vulnerable situations. Finally, a documentary video is developed about the findings of the research |
