For these reasons, the population, tourism workers, and the Tourism Department unit will work according to the objectives set to thereby boost tourism to canton Chimbo. This research has several backgrounds of authors who contribute to the research with guidance information for the development. In the end, a proposal is stated which demonstrates strategies; functions and processes to follow that will be very helpful for the tourist development of the canton. The need to improve the attention and service to tourists, in order to ensure their survival in the tourism market, for which it is convenient to implement a plan for the correct tourism development, which through techniques and procedures will help the promotion and its tourist positioning of the Chimbo canton. |

The need to improve the attention and service to tourists, in order to ensure their survival in the tourism market, for which it is convenient to implement a plan for the correct tourism development, which through techniques and procedures will help the promotion and its tourist positioning of the Chimbo canton.El presente proyecto de investigación se realizó pensando en el desarrollo turístico del cantón Chimbo, el cual sufre de una inadecuada planificación en función al turismo, es por ello que se ejecuta esta investigación para dar solución a mencionada problemática; el avance de la misma será planteada bajo estrictos niveles de responsabilidad social y compromiso, por estos motivos, la población, servidores turísticos y la unidad de turismo trabajara en función de los objetivos planteados para con ello potencializar turísticamente al cantón Chimbo. Esta investigación cuenta con varios antecedentes de autores que aportan a la investigación con información de guía para el desarrollo de la misma, al finalizar se plantea una propuesta con la cual se evidencia estrategias, funciones y procesos a seguir que van a servir de gran ayuda para el desarrollo turístico del cantón.
