Sumari:The purpose of the study is to analyze how collaborative play affects children's social interaction at Education Level 2 at the Planeta Azul Early Childhood Education Center in Riobamba. Adopting a qualitative, cross-sectional approach, direct observation with structured observation sheets was employed. The study involved 29 children, with whom playful activities focused on cooperation, teamwork, and communication were conducted. The results showed that collaborative play significantly strengthens social skills, such as empathy, respect, conflict resolution, and harmonious coexistence among children. It was concluded that systematically incorporating collaborative games into the classroom contributes positively to comprehensive early childhood development.
