Descripció
Sumari:Acute pancreatitis (AP) is a clinical condition that requires precise evaluation and appropriate clinical management to optimize patient outcomes. Improvements in diagnostic and treatment techniques have allowed for more effective stratification of disease severity, which is critical to guide clinical management and resource assignment. The implementation of standardized diagnostic procedures that incorporate clinical assessment, biochemical analysis, and advanced imaging technologies is essential for accurate classification of BP severity. We used a comprehensive literature review methodology in this research to gather and analyze the most relevant and up-to-date information on acute pancreatitis. We used recognized scientific databases and applied rigorous inclusion and exclusion criteria to select relevant studies. We also included the application of PRISMA model to ensure the transparency and reproducibility of the article selection process. Furthermore, it is important to promote continuing education and develop clinical guidelines that facilitate personalized treatment based on the severity of each case. The identification of differential diagnoses, such as biliary colic and acute liver disease, is essential to avoid diagnostic errors and inappropriate treatment. Medical training should be reinforced in this aspect, along with the strategic use of imaging technologies to improve diagnostic accuracy. It is also essential to identify and manage pre-existing conditions that predispose to BP, such as biliary disease and excessive alcohol consumption, through risk assessment and early intervention strategies. Treatment of BP should be adjusted according to the severity of the disease, with a more conservative approach for mild cases and more intensive management for moderate to severe cases. This ranges from nutritional support and pain management to minimally invasive surgical interventions for severe complications. Updated and adapted clinical guidelines are essential to ensure that all patients have the best possible treatment according to their specific condition.
