Summary:The present study aimed to determine the dimensions of social intelligence and the subscales of leadership behavior of students in the Psychopedagogy and Pedagogy of Arts and Humanities careers at UNACH. The academic field of social intelligence is vital because it is the ability to understand and effectively manage social interactions, allowing students to manage their emotions in various situations better. Leadership in the educational context is a crucial tool to stimulate performance and create positive environments through socio-emotional development. The research was developed as a comparative study of Social Intelligence and Leadership variables among students; the instruments were applied to 168 students. The methodology used had a mixed qualitative-quantitative approach, non-experimental design, descriptive, basic, of field, and transversal scope. For data collection, psychometric tests were used, such as the Brief Scale of Social Intelligence (IS-SDMW) which establishes two dimensions, each with two indicators: the Social Awareness Dimension with the indicators: Attunement and Social Cognition, and Attunement, the Social Facility Dimension with its indicators: Synchrony and Self-Presentation, and Influence; and the LEADER BEHAVIOR DESCRIPTION QUESTIONNAIRE - Form XII (LBDQ) that establishes a total of twelve subscales of a leader's behavior, which are: Representation, Demand Reconciliation, Tolerance of Uncertainty, Persuasion Capacity, Initiation of Structure, Tolerance and Freedom, Role Assumption, Consideration, Emphasis on Production, Predictive Accuracy, Integration, Higher Orientation.
