| Sažetak: | Entrepreneurship has become an essential element for the economic development of a country, and financing is a relevant factor for entrepreneurs. In this context, the objective of the research was to analyze how it influences the promotion of entrepreneurship and access to cooperative microcredit as a financial instrument in the enterprises of the province of Chimborazo, period 2022. A non-experimental design, quantitative approach, deductive and inductive method, and correlational-explanatory level were considered a methodology. Likewise, the survey and the questionnaire were used as a technique for collecting information; these were applied to a sample of 320 entrepreneurs from a total population of 1844 in the ten cantons; Alausí, Chambo, Chunchi, Colta, Cumandá, Guamote, Guano, Pallatanga, Penipe, Riobamba and 45 Savings and Credit Cooperatives from the Province of Chimborazo. The results show that the most requested type of microcredit is retail microcredit, and benefits are achieved in the case of entrepreneurs when the microcredit is more significant than 3,500 and in cooperatives when it is greater than 200 dollars; therefore, microcredit is a source of financing that allows the promotion of enterprises. |
