Shrnutí:The present thesis entitled "Indicators of demand to increase competitiveness in the sector of intermediation and tourism transportation of the Riobamba city, Chimborazo" Its purpose is to analyze the main indicators of demand that have to be used within the companies of intermediation and tourist transport. The application of these indicators serves to increase efficiency and effectiveness in terms of detecting the profile of the consumer; (goods / services, price, needs, etc.), in such a way that it is of great benefit to the citizenry and its profitability in this competitive market. This research starts from the analysis of the existing problem, by describing the research methodology and by analyzn the problem tree; the main cause and effect produced, in which the minimum use of indicators of demand in the intermediary and tourist transport sector was detected. The type of study is based on a series of articles related to the subject, with a descriptive design indicating how demand indicators affect competitiveness, it is suggested that we use methods for carrying out surveys and checking them with a sample type probabilistic of a total of 419 internal and external clients. Finally, this Guide of demand indicators that should standardize in all these establishments is presented, in order to know the client and therefore the company meets their satisfaction, achieving continuous improvements to achieve their stated objectives.
