Description
Résumé:ABSTRACT This project aims to identify the central sequelae and complications of SARS-CoV2 infection in subjects of the Hospital General Riobamba IESS, 2020. As population and sample, 192 subjects diagnosed with Covid 19 met the established inclusion criteria. The study was descriptive, non-experimental, correlational, retrospective, and cross-sectional. Medical records and telephone calls were used for data collection. It was determined that the main symptoms on admission were dyspnea (54.7%), cough (14.1%), and general malaise (7.3%). On the other hand, the primary persistent symptomatology after hospital discharge was myalgia (14.6%), fatigue (9.4%), and cough (8.9%). The most commonly used prevention method was a face mask (58.9%), and the most frequently used was alcohol gel (48.4%). In addition, it was possible to establish that a News 2 severe modified score was associated with the presence of persistent myalgias PR: 2.39 (95% CI: 1.05;5.43). As conclusion it is stated that the central sequelae of SARS-CoV2 infection were musculoskeletal and respiratory, apparently associated with the degree of severity of the disease. It is necessary to strengthen prevention measures, especially related to hand washing and the use of alcohol gel. Keywords: Coronavirus infections, primary prevention, complications.
