Rasgos Caracterológicos en los estudiantes de la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo.

Nowadays, Characterological Traits make differences in the social and educational field; the type of character shows the way in which people relate and learn. The purpose of this research work was to determine the type of character that predominates in students of the Psychopedagogy career of the National University of Chimborazo in the city of Riobamba, in this way establishing general and relevant characteristics in terms of the characterological traits that presented by the students. Thus, the types of character that each semester has with their respective characteristics were identified. Several authors allege that the type of character is the letter of introduction to people to know their personality, adding that character is built by the social and family environment, at the same time it is inherited by family genetics, therefore, the Psychologist Mauricio Gex . In its questionnaire used as a data collection instrument in this research, it mentions that the characterological traits are divided into eight groups, revealing that each one has specific characteristics and traits based on attitudes, thoughts, coexistence, among others. Finally, this research was carried out with a qualitative approach, since through knowledge of the type of character it was possible to establish the specific characteristics that the student possesses, with a non-experimental design, of descriptive, transversal and field scope, being applied a only once to the population where the study phenomenon occurred. The instrument for data collection was the Mauricio Gex questionnaire composed of 54 dichotomous response questions, applied to 259 students of the psychopedagogy career, with evident results that the most common type of character among students is Phlegmatic (nE.A.S. ). ) with obvious characteristics and traits of being workers, they like silence and tranquility, they are orderly and methodical, they consider themselves faithful friends and have an active social life, they analyze the things they do and act with caution.
