Factores socioeconómicos en el contexto familiar de la Unidad Educativa Ulpiano Navarro en el marco del covid-19

The research entitled "Socioeconomic Factors in the Family Context of Unidad Educativa Ulpiano Navarro in the framework of Covid-19" was to analyze and document the affectations experienced by the families of the educational institution during the first months of the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was predominantly descriptive; for this purpose, fieldwork was carried out in the aforementioned educational place using the empirical method since it focused on data collection techniques such as interviews and surveys. The difficult monetary and social situation that families went through during the mandatory period of confinement was evidenced; people lost a large part of their economic income since they could not work because they did not have stable jobs or salaries and depended entirely on informality, among other activities to be able to subsist each month. As a result, several students of the educational institution dropped out because they did not have enough money to purchase a smart device with an internet connection and adapt to virtual education. It is concluded that the pandemic of COVID19 showed the shortcomings that the community's social, economic, educational, and labor sectors have not yet been able to solve, compromising the welfare of the families of the educational institution
