Тойм:The research was carried out in a strategic sector of the community of Langos, San Andres parish, belonging to the Guano canton, based on stratigraphic studies using soil geophysics and mathematical modeling. In order to determine the appropriate area where the GADM - Guano could build a water pumping system in the mentioned area. In the geophysical method application, in the area, there are no reliefs and constructions which impede the process; the points were defined; several factors were taken into account as affordability and environmental conditions; they were monitored by a GPS that helped us to process the coordinates of each electrode. As for the execution of the electrical tomography in two dimensions (2D), we started with the placement of each electrode on the surface of the ground at the same distance (5 m) in a straight line; once ready, we started reading the entire sequence in automatic measurement. The electrical tomography present ranges of electrical resistivity between 1. 08 and 2652 Ohm*m, representing the lowest resistivities of the permeable zones that can conduct the water resource and have the possibility of the existence of semi-confined aquifers; six tomography made that indicated the lithological materials of the subsoil and the presence of a minor semi-confined aquifer, these collected data are entered in the Res2dinv software to make the inversion in two dimensions. For the modeling, in three dimensions, the Voxler3D program is used.
