Summary: | The work environment is of great importance for companies because it influences the behavior of employees and, therefore, the productivity of the same. The work environment is crucial in influencing employees' behavior and productivity. Employees who work in a healthy environment with optimal working conditions tend to be more motivated, satisfied and committed. This enables them to develop their skills and reach their full potential. As a result, companies need to invest in improving their organizational culture to project a competitive and sustainable image. A recent study aimed to demonstrate to Happy Pollo company the benefits of a healthy work environment in improving employee productivity. The method used was hypothetical-deductive, where the problem was observed, hypotheses were formulated, deduced, and then contrasted. The findings revealed a need for more knowledge about the study variables and a management or control model in labor relations and productivity. As a solution, five activities based on the ISO 26000 standard and labor practices were proposed to address these issues and promote a positive work environment to enhance productivity. This is because if an employee is in a healthy work environment and has the best working conditions, they will be motivated, satisfied, and committed, thus developing their skills in the best possible way and exploiting their potential to the fullest. Therefore, companies must allocate more resources to improve their organizational culture to project a more competitive and sustainable image. Thus, in this research, the objective was to show the Happy Pollo company the advantages of having a healthy work environment and thereby improve the productivity of employees, for which the method used was hypothetical deductive. Since the problem was observed, the hypothesis was formulated, deduced, and contrasted. This procedure showed that there is a weak knowledge about the variables of the study and that there is no management or control model in labor relations and productivity, which means that it is handled empirically, which is why five activities were provided which were based on the ISO 26000 standard, labor practices, to counteract the shortcomings mentioned and promote a positive work environment to thereby improve productivity |
