SUMMARY: The title of this research is "Pedagogical tales in the development of imagination in children of the Good Living Children’s Center "Francisco Chiriboga " in Riobamba City 2016 ,which was carried out in a responsible and meticulous manner. The purpose was to present the guide of pedagogical stories "Desarrollando la Imaginación" a collection of playful activities related to the development of children’s imagination. Teachers and managers of the institution were directly involved in the process which facilitated its implementation in the daily practice. The stories are a way of communicating, therefore a fundamental pillar for the child to develop their imagination. Educational stories are resources of great importance especially in the first childhood because the vision of infants largely replaces the experience and the power of reflection, because fantasy becomes a means of communication and thinking through images help the child to judge and reason and in this way it strengthens the kid’s affectivity, language and creativity. The stories are a fundamental part of the playful activities that begins with a simple conversation between the child and the adult, starting in the traditional way: once upon a time... Its importance lies in the development of the child's imagination, so in the future we can have an author of new stories, tales, songs, and other reading productions with a high level imagination development. In this sense, a guide was developed which presents a set of pedagogical stories divided into three blocks: Block 1 stories with puppets, Block 2 stories with pictograms. Block 3 stories using ICTs; all of them contributed to the development of the imagination which results were timely verified. |
