| Tóm tắt: | ABSTRACT: The design of structures based on seismic resistance, proposed in the regulations and codes mostly used, has as main objectives that the structures are capable of resisting low intensity earthquakes without suffering significant structural damage, that is, that they do not lead to the subsequent collapse of the structure. In the present research work, it seeks to technically determine the optimal prequalified connection of low-rise steel residential buildings in the city of Riobamba through an AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) multicriteria comparison, considering those prequalified connections that are documented in the AISC international standards. 358-10, FEMA 350 and except for connections that are patented. The choice and comparison of three types of prequalified connections was made, such as: reduced section beam (RBS), bolted extended end plate without stiffener (BUEEP) and welded flanges without welded web reinforcement (WUF-W). The Idea Statica software will be of great help for the analysis and design of the types of connections proposed in this research. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant connection between the seismic performance of the connections and the design variables. In addition, the connection with the best seismic resistance was found and also the most difficult to build. Keywords: Steel, Non-Linear Analysis, Connections, Structural |
