Summary:The research is intended to analyze domestic violence and emotional dependence as risk factors for preeclampsia in pregnant women who attended to the Health Center Type B from Santa Rosa, from Riobamba city in the period 2018 – 2019. The population studied consists of 30 clinical histories, in which they were reviewed, selecting patients with preeclampsia diagnosis and with the results of the test Emotional Dependence Questionnaire (CDE) and the Intrafamily Violence Measurement Scale (VIFJ4); The types of research correspond to a documentary, transversal, not experimental and descriptive process. It was supported by a pracical instrument that is the observation card, which included information data, personal background and the score of the CDE and VIFJ4 tests. The results determined that the patients with preeclampsia suffer domestic violence at a moderate level of 53.3%, physical, psychological, sexual and gender, in addition, 100% of the population presented a moderate level and high emotional dependence. According to the results, a psychological intervention plan was proposed for women who experience this problem.
