La toma de decisiones en el proceso de inventario del ferrimercado el che en Cajabamba. Chimborazo

ABSTRACT: The present research work is called "Decision-making in the inventory process of Ferrimercado El Che," in the parish of Cajabamba, Colta canton, province of Chimborazo, in the period 2021-2022. The detected problem within the company is the lack of knowledge about the inventory process, the organization of the products, and the technological advance for the registration and control of the same; as a result of this problem, the company is exposed to possible losses and shortages of its product destined for sale due to the erroneous and empirical registration of its inventories. The main objective is to determine how the development of inventory control processes and procedures influences the adequate decision-making of the company; the methodology used is exploratory through a survey since a previous inquiry must be carried out to obtain relevant knowledge based on the inputs acquired. The results issued by the calculation and analysis of the chi-square test show that the hypothesis of decisionmaking affects the inventory process of the Ferrimercado because the critical value rejects the null hypothesis in favor of the alternative hypothesis, that is; initially, there are established procedures for carrying out inventory control activities in addition to the decisions implemented by the company's administration aimed at improving control.
