Valoración urbana arquitectónica del conjunto patrimonial religioso de la Inmaculada Concepción, en la ciudad de Riobamba.

The research project allows the identification of conceptual tools that supported the application of historical recovery methodologies and techniques in the urban architectural field, in the search for the constituent elements for the valuation of the built space; it is essential to point out in the characterization and valuation of the elements and more urban pieces that constitute the areas adjacent to the religious architectural complex of the Monastery of the Madres Conceptas, allowed to define from historical elements and facts, how is the city settlement itself, it is layout and the disposition of the new urban areas that allowed to determine the new function of the city; which has allowed us to visualize a characteristic of elements that still last in time and that forces us to care and be the permanent custodians to avoid destruction with the advent of a modern and contemporary city that characterizes with new recurring needs such as the generation of new equipment that are possibly going to transform the historical spaces with architectural values such as the squares, the parks, the mansions, which without detracting from the new requirements must be considered as precautionary and preserve the architectural urban value for future generations. The Religious Complex of the Immaculate Concepción of the city of Riobamba and its context has an urban, architectural, historical, and cultural value; necessary strategic actions must be implemented to safeguard in this urban nucleus, descanting it as a historical and cultural value. The methodology used made it possible to recognize places that characterized the city of Riobamba in the past and that today have become historical landmarks or nodes of commercial tourist attraction, which denotes that the urban architectural valuation through the collection of information from plans, maps, photographs, historical events or characters that directed a new city, it currently persists with an architectural value in each of the urban pieces in order to maintain and be the custodians through valuation so that it becomes in the urban memory of the new city that is being built.
