الوصف
الملخص:The objective of this paper focuses on establishing the relationship between Foreign Direct Investment and Corruption in Latin American countries during the period 1990-2020, where an econometric model was carried out by generalized least squares (fixed effects of cross section ) using panel data, obtaining information from 17 Latin American countries and considering as explanatory variables for FDI, GDP, Exports, the inflation rate, population growth, corruption perception index (CPI), Government spending, economic freedom and natural resources. The main results obtained indicate that the increase in the CPI and FDI make the GDP grow, with an economic dynamism in the countries that were analyzed, since these are more attractive to invest, without neglecting the importance of GDP per capita. It also helps to attract capital, benefiting the receiving country, with greater economic growth and development.
