Propuesta de diseño de vivienda de interés social para los damnificados por el deslizamiento de tierra en el cantón Alausí

The objective of this degree work is focused on the development of a design proposal for a social housing project for the affected people of the landslide in the Alausí canton. For the study, we proposed to intervene on a lot of land owned by Petroecuador, which was donated to the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing (MIDUVI) to realize this architectural project. The design consists of a field study using data collection techniques and instruments. First, an initial diagnosis of the impact at different scales was carried out, which revealed that 57 homes were destroyed. Direct surveys were made with the affected people to support the proposal to be carried out where the different housing prototypes that satisfy their needs were presented. It is worth mentioning that taking advantage of local materials, a construction system based on compressed straw bales was implemented to reduce the cost per house. In addition, taking advantage of the topography of the site, the design of cultivable terraces was proposed to generate economic income for each family, which will be able to plant various products and market them in the equipment that will be implemented to mark an urban boundary, generating commercial dynamism in the sector. In conclusion, the proposal generated in the housing design and the equipment function is interrelated, taking advantage of the agricultural activity of the Alausí canton.
