Sumario:Infographics in the communication process, has advanced with the development process of civilizations. Textual-graphic processes started in an archaic form, with cave paintings, With the beginning of the industrial revolution, the first newspapers and magazines appear, with the consequence of creation of infographics as a specialized subject, as time lines, etc; wich are considered the beginning of modern infographics. Once that infogrpahics have been established as a message sending method, in the communication process at educational ambits, it has been proven that in certain circumstances, textual theoretical parts need sometimes graphics assistance to contextualize information, for example graphic elements, artworks, etc. For that reason it has been established to infographics as a didactic resource, wich enunciates the application of infographics in the research’s theme: Infographics as a didactic resource in teaching of Ecuadorian pre hispanic cultures. Pre hispanic cultures are a subject, that requires an application of graphic textual forms to show generalities of cultures. It concludes with the creation of proposals, in this case, infographics.
