Achoimre:Endodontics is considered to be a specialty that studies the structure, morphology and physiology of root dental and cavities dental, that contain the dental pulp and, treats of the pathology of the dentin-pulp complex and the periapical region. Given that, the determination of the Length of Work is the most important stages of endodontic treatment, because it limits the preparation and filling of the root canal. This research was carried out with the purpose of characterizing the corono-apical length, in permanent dentition through of dental radiographs provided by the Department of Endodontics II of the Dental School at the National University of Chimborazo. It was quantitative, using numerical quantities to obtain average measurements of permanent teeth on dental radiographs that can be treated using tools in the field of statistics. The sample chosen corresponds to one thousand X-rays of the Department of Endodontics II with a frequency of between 70 and 74 copies, for each of the dental pieces. The number of radiographs was defined based on the population of teeth that were used in the department of endodontics II for the performance of endodontic treatment, there was selected according to exclusion criteria that meet the research objectives. When applying the test Z Kolmogorov-Smirov, in order to counteract this research with other studies, it can be noted that the group means are equal or there are no differences in their means. As a result of the investigation, average measurements of permanent teeth were obtained: ICS: 22.2mm; ILS: 21.2mm; CS: 26.6mm; 1st PS: 21.6mm; 2nd PS: 23.5mm; 1st MS: 22mm; 2nd MS: 22.4mm; ICI: 21mm; ILI: 22.1mm; CI: 24mm; 1st PI: 20.3mm; 2nd PI: 21mm; 1st MI: 22.6mm; 2nd MI: 22.4mm. The results that were obtained in the procedures that have a greater accuracy according to the length of the Ecuadorian half Blood race.
