Add Tag | Summary: | ABSTRACT: Abstract The problem of ignorance about the relationship between architectural heritage conservation and sustainable tourism variables is resolved. In addition, the dimensions of Examination, Conservation, Restoration, and Reconstruction are associated with the approach to sustainable tourism in Guano Canton, Chimborazo Province. The non-experimental, transactional, and quantitative investigative methodological design is applied. Due to its scope, this research is exploratory, descriptive, and correlational. The results show a relationship between the examination dimension and sustainable tourism inscribed in its conservation. The responses affirm that by conserving the architectural heritage core in the face of tourist visits and guaranteeing sustainable tourism, a relationship between the restoration of architectural heritage and sustainable tourism is appreciated. This dimension is homologated as a key in sustainable tourism; a relationship is appreciated between the reconstruction dimension of the architectural heritage and sustainable tourism in Guano Canton. It is concluded that the public actors in charge of the heritage issue should be socialized for the proper decision-making and to assume the methodology used for other analogous investigations. |
