Abdala Bucaram Ortiz, which campaign slogan was "One Touch". His administration was characterized by waste, corruption, and barbarism. Bucaram in 1996, during her public presentations showed as "the leader and the strength of the poor", handled, a colloquial speech that convinced the masses, in this case their rhetorics are more marginalized sectors, achieving a hope in them for better days. In accordance with the local newspapers at the beginning of this regime there was an atmosphere of acceptance and engagement of new economic measures that sought to solve the deficit and meet the needs of citizens, the reactions of discomfort also began getting noticed time after, for months the rates of poverty and crime were increasing due to the lack of sources of work, so that the country witnessed and starred in a series of uprisings and strikes in action in the defense of their rights, marking a stage of events that up to the present remains latent in the memory of the Ecuadorians. |
