الملخص:The procedural regulation, in the civil field, is governed by the provisions within the General Organic Code of Proceedings (COGEP), a legal body that brought about a procedural change in the Ecuadorian civil system, as of its effectiveness in 2016, replacing the former Code of Civil Procedure. With the implementation of the General Organic Code of Processes, legal disputes are processed in a faster and more efficient way, in consideration of the principles that affect the mentioned legal body; part of these referred principles, are celerity and concentration, which allow the administration of justice to be more efficient and fast, avoiding unnecessary delays. An important part of the present investigation is the procedural regulation regarding the valuation of the evidentiary means offered in the trial, for that reason this investigation has a legal, normative and doctrinaire approach about the correct valuation of the evidentiary means in the Ecuadorian civil procedure. Considering that the valuation must be done through a set of necessary requirements that are provided by the judge at the time of hearing a particular case, thus fulfilling the legal requirements at the time of giving that value to each piece of evidence, it will be possible to reach a favorable ruling that benefits one of the two procedural parties.
