| Summary: | The thesis on Corporate Social Responsibility in the Public Relations strategy in the footwear industry in the city of Ambato investigated the impact and influence of CSR in the communication strategies of companies. It focused on describing the importance of CSR in companies and through them to improve their corporate image and relations with the community, in addition to implementing sustainable practices, the need to educate about CSR and integrate it into the organizational culture, and continuous evaluation for updating in CSR and PR. A non-experimental research design was used for the study because no variables were manipulated and the phenomena occurred naturally, using two approaches: one of information that has been previously analyzed by other authors in scientific journals, undergraduate and graduate theses, books; and the second of techniques and instruments for data collection such as the survey and the questionnaire. The estimated population for the development of the variables is 145 footwear companies in Ambato, using the data collected by the last record of the Results of the National Economic Census of INEC 2011. |
