Saberes Ancestrales y Turismo Cultural en la Parroquia Cubijíes, Provincia de Chimborazo.

Tourism is the mass movement that allows the economy to be dynamic. For this, the offer plays a vital role since the products and services offered are a priority because they will generate a positive perception of the tourist regarding the product offered. After all, it is not only an object but also an experience. The project is based on the ancestral knowledge of the Cubijíes parish, province of Chimborazo. Since the parish has people skilled in the elaboration of pyrotechnics, making cabuya, making ropes, gastronomy, music, dance, and especially the animero, as well as so many other activities are considered knowledge since it is the knowledge of the realization of the same. Therefore, this knowledge is transmitted from generation to generation. It comes from our ancestors or ancestors, which is why it is called ancestral. The development of this project is emphasized to give a solution to the problem presented in the Cubijíes parish because of its people's ignorance of the real sense of cultural practices within cultural tourism. It is bringing with it the ignorance of ancestral knowledge, the minor importance of cultural tourism, and the little tourist promotion of the parish. For this reason, a solution has been proposed by developing methods, techniques, and instruments to guide us towards the solution. Therefore, once a large part of the project has been developed, we apply the surveys based on the objective population, which is necessary to know their state of knowledge. Thus, once the project results are obtained, we proceed to implement the proposal, which in this case is the realization of a tourist guide of the Cubijíes parish, Province of Chimborazo.
