| Sumari: | The present investigative work had the purpose of determining the labor recognition of the nursing profession during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This virus appeared in China in November 2019. A few months spread to different countries, and mostly, people contracted the virus through poorly understood transmission mechanisms. The coronavirus situation puts the life and care of all people at risk due to the economic, social, and cultural impact. Family involvement has been caused directly and indirectly; That is why the present study was based on the relevant activities carried out by nursing professionals and their recognition at a regional and global level. Sixty-four bibliographic sources from different databases that addressed various aspects of the subject were reviewed, applying inclusion and exclusion criteria. Based on the results, nursing professionals have carried out activities related to leadership, management of technological equipment, decision making, education, research, safety, and protection. Working with ethics and professionalism for the care of infected patients. Because of the Pandemic; not all activities recognized their work. Despite this, the WHO declared 2020 as the International Year of Nursing. Meanwhile, Mona Juul, president of the UN Economic and Social Council, calls on the population to recognize the efforts have made to reduce the impact of the alarming wave of Covid-19 infections. Therefore, the nursing profession has not been recognized as deserved despite his work during the pandemic, despite being a professional who performs his functions autonomously, no greater recognition has been projected during his daily work. Sometimes due to gender, racial or salary circumstances; likewise, the state must recognize and provide adequate working conditions for its performance and remuneration according to its functions in the health area. |
