Shrnutí:The purpose of this research is to present a didactic proposal focused on strengthening the cultural identity of technical high school students at the intercultural bilingual high school Nizag, taking into account the preservation of the Kichwa nationality. The exploration is of mixed character, it has a qualitative and quantitative approach, in the data collection a survey was used, an instrument that allowed analyzing the current relationship of the students with the cultural identity and the didactic strategies, to then develop didactic strategies considering the skills of the prioritized curriculum in relation to the strengthening of the student's cultural identity. The didactic strategies developed are directed for each of the levels of Technical High School, they contain teaching and learning activities, the planning was elaborated following the respective procedure of the didactic structure of intercultural bilingual education. The study concludes with the presentation of three lesson plans, which contain scientific information related to the history of the community of Nizag, the participation of the women of the community and the Andean moral principles that influence the life of each of the inhabitants of the locality studied.
