Diseño e implementación de un prototipo de electro-estimulación temprana psicomotriz en niños con Síndrome de Down del Centro Despertar Los Ángeles para mejorar la motricidad en extremidades superiores

This research project aims to develop a prototype of early electro-stimulation, which stimulates the main ones that interfere in the motor skills of the upper extremities, which are essential to hold or grasp any object. (Renovell, 2017) Down syndrome or trisomy 21 usually occurs due to an excess of trisomy 21 in the DNA, this rare disease often causes damage that atrophy or degrade the muscle of the lower and upper extremities. Reduce the autonomy of the infant or adult to a point of reaching a state of their loved ones to be able to move from one place to another and even get prostrate in a wheelchair or a bed of life. (Eduardo, 2015) With the electronic prototype it is intended to prevent or be necessary to mitigate the muscle degradation, for this it is necessary to establish the ideal parameters for the electromyographic signals (EMG) of a healthy muscle and compare them with the name of the people who suffer from Down syndrome. After having established a quantifiable parameter with which you can work, you can develop an electronic circuit that stimulates the values that can help prevent side effects. (Miguel, 2016) In order to have the necessary tests for children with Down syndrome and to develop this prototype, it is contagious with the support of the ING Pablos Cepeda, coordinator of the Special Attention Center "Awakening Los Angeles" located in the "Saboya Militar" neighborhood, it is one of the foundations that attend this particular case of suffering such as Down syndrome.
