INDEBTEDNESS AS A GROWTH FACTOR OF INDUSTRIAL COMPANIES IN THE MANUFACTURING SECTOR OF THE PROVINCE OF CHIMBORAZO, PERIOD 2021 Industrial companies and their manufacturing sector constitute a fundamental element for the economic-financial development of Ecuador, so it is necessary to evaluate their conditions in the face of market changes and the affectation of the economy by the pandemic in 2021, it is for For this reason, the present investigation had the objective of analyzing indebtedness as a factor of growth of industrial companies in the manufacturing sector of the Province of Chimborazo, period 2021. The research methodology had a quantitative approach based on field research and the bibliographical-documentary, with a correlational research level, likewise, for the collection of information, the questionnaire was used as a survey technique and as an instrument, where closed questions were raised. A population made up of seven industrial companies in the manufacturing sector of the province of Chimborazo registered in the Superintendency of Companies in the year 2021 and published in the year 2022 was considered, from which information related to the indebtedness indicators and growth indicators was obtained. On sales. As a result, it was evidenced that the majority of companies have a high index of short-term indebtedness, being Corpmegabus the company with an above-average indebtedness. It was concluded that the growth in sales depends on the degree of indebtedness, that is, that indebtedness is a factor for the growth of industrial companies in the manufacturing sector of the Province of Chimborazo.
