| Sumario: | The new information and communication technologies (ICT) have invaded the field of sport, specifically soccer, with the aim of providing tools that allow working with data analysis to improve game strategies. This research work examines the use of software, platforms or other data analysis technologies and the internal communication process of Centro Deportivo Olmedo and Club Social y Deportivo Macará, as two key elements to reduce the margin of error in the scoreboard. The theoretical basis of this work is the functionalist theory and the mathematical model of Shannon and Weaver, the scientific and descriptive method and the type of qualitative research are used, since data is taken from official sources on the results in the position table of the years under study from 2015 to 2019, a time where technological resources are gradually increased. On the other hand, the interview technique used with the technical directors Ricardo Dillon and Paúl Vélez, respectively, from Olmedo and Macará, is an essential contribution to knowing the reality around the reasons for the scores obtained, as well as a complement, information is obtained from Ángel Viotti player of Olmedo and former player of Macará. Also, Ciro Vargas, a specialist in video analysis, mentions the importance of applying technological resources in soccer to meet the objectives. This is how it is evident that the use of analysis software, platforms and effective internal communication are fundamental axes to score at the top of the position table or even ascend. |
