Adicionar Tag | Resumo: | In this research work a study of potato production in the Parish Ilapo, Canton Guano, Chimborazo Province, whose main purpose was to determine whether the cultivation of potatoes impacts agricultural development in this sector is carried out; to achieve the mission, several social aspects were analyzed: gender, age, language, marital status and educational level of instruction; and economic aspects such as land area, average annual planting of potatoes, market price and cost of production, amount of crop per hectare, soil fertility, seed type, use of chemicals, labor, use of agricultural machinery and technological resources, quality of products, marketing and distribution of the potato; to meet these social and economic indicators a questionnaire was applied to potato producers Ilapo Parish, with the results an econometric model was constructed. The R2 statistic, which represents the impact has the independent variables on the dependent variable was used for hypothesis testing; also used the F test, where 0.00000 <0.05, consequently the Hi is not rejected, meaning that the linear specification (model generally) can be considered valid. |
