| الملخص: | The sub-basin of the Chambo River forms part of the upper basin of the Pastaza River, it is located in the center of Ecuador on the Atlantic slope of the Andes mountain range. The main river takes the name of Chambo, same that forms of the union of the Cebadas and Guamote rivers, following its course towards the north where finally it is united with the Patate to form the Pastaza river. The objective of this thesis is the hydraulic study of the Chambo river, determining the hydraulic conductance and the flood zones that will exist along the river, for the hydraulic conductance, that is, the efficiency with which the fluids will be transported through From the soil of the river to the Chambo aquifer and vice versa, it was obtained that in the high sector of the bridge via Chambo with a value of 0.4249 m2 / h and a flow of interaction between river basin of 0.1955 m3 / h, there is a contribution from the river towards the aquifer, in the middle section of the bridge via Quimiag with a value of 0.1826 m2 / h and an interaction flow between river-aquifer of 0.0292 m3 / h, there is a contribution from the river to the aquifer and in the lower section of the bridge via Penipe with a value of 0.4999 m2 / h and an interaction flow between river-aquifer of 0.2300 m3 / h, in the same way there is a contribution of the river to the aquifer. Regarding the flood zones, the HEC-RAS mathematical model was used, which, together with the Geographic Information System and the incorporation of the Hec-GeoRAS extension, allowed us to obtain results from the flood zones along the river and in accordance To the areas affected by flooding in the sub-basin of the Chambo River with a greater percentage of 28% of the total area affected by flooding are the planted pastures located mostly in the middle part corresponding to the sector of the bridge via Quimiag and in the lower part at the mouth. |
