| Riassunto: | The present research work is focused on determining the Narrative Genre in the development of literacy in children of sub level 2 of Early Education in the Edmundo Chiriboga Educational Unit in the city of Riobamba. The research problem focused on the narrative genre because it has not been used adequately for the development of literacy in children from 4 to 5 years old as an essential tool in the reading and writing processes. This analysis will help teachers in the classroom to choose to work with this genre consecutively and not only occasionally with children, thus maintaining a reading routine, children will be even more motivated to want to learn to read and write. The research was conducted based on a descriptive and qualitative methodology with a qualitative research design and above all bibliographic, since in this the information was obtained from various sources, which were: books, magazines, digital repositories and scientific articles, within what refers to data collection techniques observation was used as a key technique to obtain primary information for this research, with respect to the instrument we went to the development of the observation sheet. As for variables, we have two: the first is the independent variable, which is determined by the Narrative Genre, and the second is the dependent variable, which is Literacy. The above mentioned helped in the formulation of the conclusions, which allowed us to know the importance of the narrative genre in the classroom to develop literacy, since the implementation of the subgenres as part of the children's learning is giving them the opportunity to discover an endless number of stories, not only fictional but also cultural, reinforcing their interest in reading and writing. |
