Izvleček:ABSTRACT: The present investigation was developed to review the modality bibliographic, the objective is to analyze the Mc Connell method's effectiveness in Patellar tendinitis, through scientific evidence to determine its effectiveness, as well as to identify its importance. Patellar tendinitis is an injury to the tendon connecting the patella to the tibia. The patellar tendon works with the muscles at the front of the thigh to extend the knee so you can kick, jump, and run. Patellar tendinitis, also known as “Jumps´ knee “is more common in athletes, although it can affect anyone whose regular activity involves great effort for the knees, the Mac Connell bandage allows us to treat musculoskeletal injuries, since it allows joint stability, improves neuromuscular activity, the principal function is to control the lateral tilt and sliding of the patella. The collection of information was carried out in the following databases Scielo, Google Scholar, Elzevier, and WorldWide, Science obtaining 111 articles of which 35 were used. After the investigation and with the respective discussion of the authors, it is concluded that the application of the Mc Connell bandage has a high incidence in the treatment of Patellar tendinitis.
